Lessons We Can Learn From Luxury Sales Associates

In high school I worked my first job as a sales associate in a department store a couple of hours a week. At the time, I was given the opportunity to not only network with those in my department, but those who worked in other stores as well. Someone I admired (who I am still in contact with today) was my complete inspiration. A middle-aged black woman who was the definition of elegance, grace, and opulence, Mrs. Geneva, a luxury jewelry associate, graced our presence every single day in tweed blazers, furs, suits, blouses, slacks, dresses, and hair and makeup always looking beautiful. Not only was she gorgeous, elegant, and graceful, but she was charismatic, charming, and super sweet! Here is what we all can take from her:
