The Fine Art of Dining (Children)
Join our Headmistress/Certified Etiquette Consultant for an elegant evening at the Chop House Toledo for private formal dining instruction. Meal is also included. This course is for children ages six to twelve. For teens and adults, please visit the adult course.
Child dining instruction will cover the fundamentals of table manners, holding utensils, good posture and appropriate conversation.
Participants of this course will learn how to navigate a place setting and menu, hold utensils properly and understand the differences between American and Continental styles. Your child will learn manners for specific courses in the meal, from bread and butter to soup and salad, how to have good posture, and eye contact and appropriate gestures. Your child will also learn how to interact if they do not like what they have ordered, how to properly toast their host or guest of honor, and how to end a meal properly and know when they may leave the table.
Upon booking, please enter your email address. Each client will be sent a Client Needs-Assessment Questionaire for you to complete within 72 hours which also includes the date and time you interested in conducting your child's session with at least five days notice of interested dates.
